*Need a Front End User Interface Designer/ Developer to help deliver
engaging and highly usable user interfaces on various projects in the human
resources industry. Experience should include interactive
prototypes/skeletons in HTML/CSS/JavaScript. The right candidate should be
looking to contribute at a company that is fast-paced, with many
opportunities to take ownership over projects. *

*Qualifications:*
• 3+ years designing, developing, testing, compatible and standards
compliant user interfaces
• Strong graphic and user-interface design skills.
• Ability to rapidly iterate through prototypes.
• Solid understanding of current web standards, mobile trends and
technologies.
• Proficient/expert in hand-coding HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS
(HTML5 and CSS3 desirable)
• Familiar with jQuery ecosystem, creating plug-ins, jQuery UI, and
Bootstrap
• Experience with JavaScript application development including
single page apps using Backbone,
the MVC pattern, object-oriented programming, and client-side
build processes.
• Experience designing and debugging web sites in a multi-browser
environment
• Ability to integrate front-end with back-end technologies using
AJAX, JSON, and SOAP
• Experience with software development life cycle methodologies and
practices
• Proactive self-starter with the ability to work one-on-one with
other functional groups such as QA,
engineering, product management
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in both technical
and business environments.
• Familiarity with programming to display charts and graphs using
JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
• Experience with mobile application development (web and native),
nice to have
*Responsibilities:*
• Mockup new features and applications for collaborative review with
stakeholders and developers
• Convert system requirements into UI designs for yourself and
others using JavaScript, CSS, HTML
• Perform maintenance and updates to existing websites.
• Create visual concepts that work within companys marketing
guidelines
• Stakeholder meetings to evaluate technologies and present proposed
architecture to team
• Investigate new UI technologies and recommend technical direction
for UI technologies
• Develop and maintain reporting applications using the latest
business intelligence software
