Skills Required and Job Description:
SUMMARY:
• The primary task is to develop verification and validation plans, execute test plans and develop software automated tests for Computed Tomography (CT) sub-systems.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Read and understand product details garnered from customer requirements and internal design documents
• Write and execute software test procedures based on software requirements
• Develop software scripts for automated and regression testing
• Maintain aspects of a software quality program from requirements management through verification and validation planning, procedure development and execution
• Develop organize, perform and maintain verification and validation plans and procedures
• Develop/modify application written in C and Visual Basic used in testing the final product
• Develop Python software scripts for verification procedures and regression testing
• Perform requirements management tasks to ensure that all customer requirements are traced to verification procedures and verification results
• Log all defects encountered in verification of the product, providing detailed information necessary to reproduce the problem
• Maintain defect database
• Release test documents in the documentation system
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
• BS Computer Science, Computer Engineering
• Working knowledge of Windows Operating systems required
• Knowledge of QNX or Linux is desirable
• Must have experience with Python or similar scripting languages
• Competent in developing applications written in C and Visual Basic
• Familiarity with requirements managements tools and embedded, real-time software
• Experience with AccuRev source control tool, Contour requirements management tool and JIRA defect tracking tool is desirable
• 10 years of SQA experience and 5 years of programming and scripting experience |
