Skills Required and Job Description:
Remote Project
Candidates should be available early US/late UK hours
- Client is currently seeking a sr. edi/b2b developer to join its team.
- The successful candidate will have strong design and implementation skills with a deep knowledge and understanding of biztalk 2009 and web scripting languages.
- Applicant must demonstrate a proven ability to turn requirements into reality with well-designed solutions.
Roles and responsibilities:
- All aspects of the software development lifecycle including design, development, testing, support and maintenance.
- Work with clients, vendors and insight development teams to identify business and technical requirements for unified communications
- Develop unified designs based on the latest biztalk 2009
- Implement & support unified edi/b2b solutions for clients based on industry best practices
- Provide knowledge transfer and detailed design/operational documentation to clients
- Provide quality assurance documentation review and peer review on projects
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients and internal teams
- Develop, code review, and assist in project management of current edi/b2b projects
- Senior employees are expected to mentor others' abilities and recognize opportunities for improvement
Qualifications:
- BS degree ¿ ideally computer science or similar subject.
- At least 5 years technical experience in software development.
- Proven track record in software development.
- Strong technical software skills.
- Either work in the uk sheffield or uk london office, or be willing to travel 25% to sheffield (1 week per month)
- US candidates must have a passport before hiring
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Enthusiastic, dedicated team player with a will to succeed.
- Able to work directly with internal customers and partners.
- Strong design and programming skills for highly technical systems.
- Excellent knowledge of biztalk 2009, dynamics ax
- Excellent knowledge of web scripting languages (php, perl, jsp), java a plus
- Excellent knowledge of microsoft sql (2008)
