Job Title                        Sr. Java developer.
Project Location            Burr Ridge, IL
Duration                         6 months /Contract

Skills Required and Job Description:

Interview mode:Telephonic and SKype
Need only USC and GC
Basic Requirements:

  • Ten+ years of experience designing and building applications, with a minimum of four years in Standard Java & J2EE application systems architecture (WebSphere Application Server v5.1 & 6.1 knowledge a strong preference)
  • Strong experience with object-oriented software development methodologies and practices including Agile & J2EE design patterns & UML.
  • Strong written and verbal skills. Must be comfortable communicating with various levels of management.
  • Significant experience (3+ years) with J2EE and related technologies including:
    SPRING, Struts, WebWork (Servlets, JSP, _javascript_, HTML, JNDI), Linux (Z/Linux a plus)
  • Hibernate
  • JMS and/or WebSphere MQ

 Nice to have:  

  • JNDI
  • Strong experience with relational databases and SQL (DB2 for z/OS a plus)
  • Exposure to SOA concepts and technologies (WebSphere Process Server and SCA components a plus)
  • Exposure to Property and Causality claims processes a plus
