Skills Required and Job Description:

Interview: Phone or Skype

Qualifications:-

  • 2 years of experience and clear competence in the following areas
  • Planning, writing, and executing software tests
  • Creating and executing tests for validation (“we built the right thing”) and verification (“we built it right”)
  • Creating and executing system tests, regression tests, integration tests, user acceptance tests, and load/performance tests
  • Performing repeatable tests and documenting the results
  • Automated testing of web-based applications
  • Writing tests in C# in a .NET environment
  • Agile testing on a scrum development team
  • Writing clear scenario-based test plans
  • Documenting test failures with step-by-step scenarios for recreating the failure

Introductory knowledge in the following areas:-

  • Working with systems architects to ensure systems have a testable architecture
  • Working closely with software developers to align unit tests with automated system tests
  • Working with requirements analysts to make sure software requirements are testable
  • Working with a configuration management team to make sure all configurations have test coverage
  • Working with an Infrastructure team to ensure testability across infrastructure variations
