Skills Required and Job Description:

DB2 Developer with DBA

  • This position is more of a DB2 developer than a database administrator.
  • Some DB2 DBA experience on Z/OS mainframe.
  • Extensive Erwin Modeling experience.
  • DB2 Utilities: Load/Unload, Copy, Reorg.
  • Provide mainframe DB2 performance review for application databases- Development, validation, integration & production.
  • Migration of DB2 stored procedure definitions in the DB2 catalog.
  • Experience in mainframe application development.
  • Strong knowledge of how to read and tune SQL.
