*SharePoint Migration Specialist * Location: New Orleans, LA
Duration: Long Term SharePoint Migration Specialist (Architect or Sr. Business Analyst/Project Manager) to assist one of our multi-national Oil and Gas clients who is migrating from SP07 to SP10, and we need someone to act as site / site collection administrator and also as a first line of support for our large user base. There is a global SharePoint support organization, but all the rough edges are not off that yet and we need someone who we are sure will be prioritizing end user support and has the skills to fill in the any gaps in the support process. The SharePoint Specialist will also need to assist with helping user’s migrate sites from 2007 to 2010 and can help manage the decommissioning of SP2007. Again, there is a global process for this but we need someone user facing who can ensure that nothing is taken down inadvertently.
