PHONE AND SKYPE 6+MONTHS *Job Description* * * The person provides technical expertise in the areas of systems and applications design, development, and implementation. This individual is recognized as an integration technical leader and will possess skills across multiple disciplines. The individual in this position will provide technical oversight and direction to client’s integration projects and members of the integration development team. The individual in this position will participate in the design and development of architectural standards and ensure compliance for: 1) Integration design, development, testing, and implementation practices, languages, and tools. 2) Provide input into integration security. 3) Provide the lead for integration product research and assessment. 4) Provide oversight of the integration/configuration practices. An individual in this position will be involved with the design and implementation of new and upgraded architectural and engineering services. The person will design, develop, test, and implement the Service Delivery solutions. These solutions include the use of middleware-enabled business processes, applications, and system component integration. An individual in this position will provide support to internal and external clients. Individuals in this position will manage and deliver components of client engagements that identify, design, and implement technology and creative integration solutions. This person will participate in software development reviews, assist other team members with technology and project related direction, research, prototyping, and implementation services. Responsibilities will include: This person is responsible for identifying the most complex development related issues and determining appropriate resolution. This individual will support integration efforts. Areas of expertise include in-depth knowledge of state-of-the art web enterprise service bus technologies, integration platforms, and web integration development tools and techniques. _ Experience in large and complex integration efforts throughout all phases of the project lifecycle from scoping and planning, requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and go live. _ Architecture and solution design experience required. _ Experience with strategizing, designing, and building. _ Experience with enterprise service bus (ESB) technology; specifically webMethods. _ Experience with business process modeling (BPM) tools. _ Knowledge and understanding of business rules integration. _ Experience in Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) architecture and concepts. _ Strong knowledge and comprehension of standards, specifications, standards bodies (e.g., XML, UDDI, JMS, Web services, etc.). _ Knowledge and experience in multiple EAI areas including message brokers, messaging middleware, workflow, rules engines, business process management, and business activity monitoring. _ Experience executing one or more architectural proof of concepts, possess strong methodology understanding, and have assisted in the design, development, or testing of a technology integration project. _ Provide knowledge transfer to designated Commonwealth staff. QUALIFICATIONS An individual in this position will need to have a strong knowledge and comprehension of standards, specifications, and standards bodies.
