*Duration: 18+ Months* * * Experience Required: 7+ years * * *JOB DESCRIPTION:* Ability to administer VMware hands-on. For example, the person should be very comfortable with Snapshots, adding hosts, performance analytics and that sort of task. Performs installations, configuration, operations and maintenance of multiple operating systems (Microsoft, Linux, VMWare). Develops, documents and maintains standard operating procedures. Supports Server infrastructure including related components (Storage Attached Network\Network Attached Storage (SAN\NAS) devices, switches, server chassis, software). Participates in technical research and development to maintain cutting edge technology solutions. Performs internal security audits and regular monitoring of to ensure enterprise level security. Maintains a highly available and scalable computing environment. Assists with technical issues, project management, design, analysis and implementation of computing solutions. Works with managed system providers (MSP) and provides oversight for Service Level Agreement (SLA) adherence. Provides executive overview of system performances in the form of dashboards. Prepares weekly reports, charts, graphs, and other statistical information regarding system performance and utilization.
