*Job Title : QA Tester [Local to CA :: F2F interview]Location : Oakland, CA.Required:-* We're looking for a QA Engineer to perform software testing of Clipper business rules monthly updates. This will include fare increases, product price changes and transfer agreement changes between various transit operators. Testing will consist of Unit testing during the development phase which will take place at Cubic's Concord office and then end-to-end System testing at our Oakland office.
This is a temporary position expected to last 6 months. Responsibilities: - Design and write test plans - Execute test plans - Unit testing - System testing - Enter and update software issues Qualifications: Four year college degree in engineering, computer science, information systems, or other related technical discipline plus a minimum of two years of experience, or an Associate of Science degree in math or technical science field with four years related experience Requires knowledge of software test engineering including unit, system and black box testing. *Nice to Have:** Excellent problem solving and organizational skills * Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with all management levels * Leads others toward technical accomplishments and collaborative project team efforts * Strong written communications, including technical writing * Strong analytical and conceptual skills *Desired*:- 6-7+ Years of IT experience.
