*Direct Client* *OBIEE (Essbase) Developer* *Duration: 6+ months* *Rate: $60/hr MAX* *Location: Phoenix, AZ* *Interview Mode: Phone* *Experience: 5-7 Years * *Scanned copy of work authorization would be needed to check the validity* SKILLS: OBIEE Essbase PL/SQL Data warehousing exp Candidate needs to have excellent communication skills, be out of the box thinker. * Proto-typed and implemented solutions for performance improvement for Essbase, delivered new/complex databases for Cashflow, overhauled the Plan/Forecast processing methods. * Implemented a complex OBIEE > Essbase connectivity. Created multiple subject areas connecting to Essbase, and provided support for vertical and horizontal reporting. * Strategized various areas of middleware integration (Workspace with OBIEE, OBIEE with Essbase, and Smart view with OBIEE). * Management reporting Essbase cube performance improvement, used calc scripts, load rules and PL/SQL pre-processing of data. * Developed solutions for integrating eBiz data with HFM (Using FDM Scripts), and Extended Analytics. * Proto-typed and implemented a solution to integrate front end processing of Financial Analytics from Oracle eBiz, including total processing from Concurrent Jobs. * Customized & Extended Out of the Box Data model, Workflows and DAC Configurations to meet business needs for Financial Reporting. * Full and Incremental Load performance Improvement: several changes made to the data model including Table Partitioning, efficient Index Creation Strategy, Informatica load partitioning etc., to cut down longer Load time. * Proto-typed and implemented a Virtual Private Database to implement Functional Data Level security. * Improved OBIEE login response time.
