Sr. MS SQL Server DBA
Location: ADA, Michigan
Type: Contract
Start: 3/10/14
Duration: 6 mos
Perform Application DBA work as follows:
* Create and maintain database models and scripts that create, modify or
delete database objects
* Assist Software Developers on writing stored procedures and triggers
* Work with Software Developers on database conversions and migrations
* Create and maintain security for database access
* Perform database and application tuning along with Software Developers
* Create, maintain and implement database development standards with best
practices
* Coordinate and work with vendors on packaged software in regards to
changes impacting databases
This person will report to a Lead DBA that knows Microsoft SQL Server.
At least 5 years of experience in application database administration
* At least 2 years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server
* Able to work independently and as a team member
Strong command of English, good communication and interpersonal skills
