Title: Sr. Systems Engineer Location: Westchester, IL *Duration: 6 month contract to hire* Interview Process: They will hire off Skype interviews NEED GC/USC.. *Job Description:* This highly visible position will be responsible for defining the long-term vision for IAA’s technological direction and evolving IAA’s Enterprise design. The position will work closely with the team lead and other Sr. System Engineers to develop and implement a long term strategy for the enterprise to ensure the systems and the team are operating at maximum efficiency. The candidate will provide technical leadership on application projects to ensure the application team delivers integrated business and technology solutions that meets the customer’s needs. The Sr. Systems Engineer must develop a thorough understanding of the application and electronic products’ business requirements, as well as communicate the long-term Enterprise vision and its current implementation, and identify and execute the migration strategy. Additionally, the Sr. Systems Engineer must keep up with the current state of client, server and Web technologies, and share that knowledge with peers and application teams. This position reports to the Manager, Systems Engineering and Storage. *Requirements:* · Hands on experience with design, implementation, configuration and troubleshooting of complex Windows 2003 and 2008 systems. Experience with Windows 2012 highly preferred. · Experience automating repetitive tasks with Powershell, PowerCLI, vbscript and WMI. · Minimum of 5 years experience with Active Directory to include GPO implementation and deployment in an enterprise environment. · Minimum of 3 years experience with Microsoft System Operations Center 2007 including design, deployment, and management. Experience with entire System Center Configuration Manager highly preferred. Experience with SCOM 2012 or SCCM 2012 preferred. · Minimum of 3 years experience managing Exchange 2007. 2010 preferred · Minimum of 5 years experience with Microsoft Clustering · Minimum of 3 years experience with VMware Vsphere 4.x or higher. Vsphere 5 highly preferred. · Minimum of 3 years experience with SAN arrays. EMC VNC highly preferred. · Minimum of 3 years experience architecting, implementing, and managing complex solutions. · Minimum of 5 years experience capacity planning in a large dynamic environment. · Thorough understanding of enterprise-wide software development. · Experience implementing disaster recovery solutions. · Experience with IBM blades preferred. · Ability to mentor junior staff. · Able to rapidly absorb and implement new technologies, platforms and procedures. · Working knowledge of TCP/IP. · Define and evolve infrastructure for client, server and Web applications. · Experience with high volume web sites and large scale information management. · Ability to prepare and maintain project plans and related technical documentation is required. *Qualifications:* Candidate must have a 4-year degree (or equivalent experience) and a minimum of six years prior experience in information systems. Certifications in any of the following (or equivalent experience) preferred: MCSA, MCSE, MCSM, VCP, VCAP, or VCDX. Excellent oral and written communications skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with the architecture/DBA/system engineer teams, application teams and clients is required.
