Thanks Ruby on Rails, Greenwich, CT, Pay is to open, Please mail resume to [email protected] *3-6 month plus contract role to do new development and enhancements to existing systems in Ruby\Ruby on Rails.* *Location is Greenwich, CT* *Pay is to open * *Start asap * Duties: • Develops custom solutions and applications in Ruby on Rails • Performs software analysis, code analysis, requirements analysis, software review and system risk analysis • Demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, code comments and clear code • Prepares and installs solutions to problems after analysis is complete • Works closely with internal business leadership and external clients to define requirements and create solutions • Improves operations by conducting systems analysis and recommending changes to policies and procedures • Evaluates, identifies and implements new technologies • Architects solutions to maximize scalability, performance and security Qualifications: • Degree in Computer Science or equivalent required • 5+ years of general web development experience and 2+ years of Ruby on Rails experience required • Excellent understanding of the MVC architecture and OOP design and principles • Strong background in HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
