Works cooperatively with team members on a wide range of projects such as Web Content Management System implementation, business system upgrades, the revamping of our e-commerce site and the development of personalized web modules for our members. Assists in creating feature-level designs for new modules. Has the ability to separate features into tasks, determining implementation strategies, and providing time estimates for implementation. Develops “proof of concept” prototypes and visualization aids as needed. Debugs and troubleshoots applications in cross-browser and mobile device settings. Optimizes client and server code and database queries for optimal performance. Works with development teams to determine test strategies and then defines test plan scenarios where useful. Participates in code reviews and adheres to styles and standards for code quality. Learns about new technologies that can be used for our development projects. Provides regular project updates keeping the development team up to date on current project status. Object-oriented programming experience. *Proficiency in server-side web programming using C#. Experience in Web development and design using JavaScript/JQuery, HTML5 and CSS3.* Effectively communicates and documents technical architecture and solutions to internal peer groups as well as other groups. A team player with solid communication skills, excellent at problem solving, troubleshooting, and embracing new challenges. Positive attitude and the ability to remain flexible in a dynamic environment. Ability to manage time across multiple, simultaneous projects.
