Develops and maintains test data. - Performs system testing by executing test plans. Reports, documents, and tracks resolutions for software “bugs” identified in the testing process. - Assists in the confirmation of issues reported from outside sources, and assists system development staff in understanding issues and desired resolution. - Assists in the transfer of fully tested software into operational versions, including the preparation and distribution of software and appropriate collateral materials to users. - Assists in the implementation of software tools and technologies, and testing techniques and procedures, which facilitate the SQA process. - Performs a variety of technical tasks that include: conducting routine tasks in conformance with set procedures within the department; interacting with users or other departments; evaluating systems or procedures and recommending action or changes; testing applications, systems and procedures; providing guidance to others in carrying out duties, while performing technically advanced responsibilities; establishing and documenting procedures for carrying out technical duties, in compliance with best practices or new technology; and being accountable for compliance with regulatory requirements for technical function. *- Proficient in developing functional automation scripts (Selenium RC, WebDriver and/or SoapUI).* *Preferred Skills:* *Java/Javascript coding* *Education:* BS.
