·         Minimum work experience:5 - 8 Years

·         Teradata(Mandatory)

·         As a Lead, you are responsible for managing a small team of
analysts, developers, testers or engineers and drive delivery of a small
module within a project (Delivery/Maintenance/Testing)

·         You may serve as entry level specialist with expertise in
particular technology/industry domain/a process / application / product.
You are responsible for functional/technical track of a project.


*Teradata *



*Data Integration*

·         Should be able to develop technological solution for the intended
delivery competency to meet enterprise business requirements

·         Should have developed reusable artifacts like architecture
components, vendor neutral technology frameworks, best practices and
standards for the technology for the intended delivery competency

·         Should be able to foresee and handle technological integration,
internationalization, exceptions and performance issues as part of
developing technological solutions

·         Experience Range : 3+ years of experience in developing
technology level solutions like architecture, framework, etc.



*Unix Shell Scripting*

·         Shell Basics & Sub shells

·         Shell types: Bourne, Korn, C, bash -Korn Shell Environment -
Startup Scripts (.profile, .kshrc)

·         Using ENV for automatic environment tailoring (PATH etc.)

·         Commands & Options - Manipulating Input and Output Redirection
(Pipes) - Aliases (alias, unalias)

·         How the Shell Finds Commands - Command History and
Editing[Variables]

·         Assigning Values to Variables (set, unset and Special Variables)

·         Built-in Variables Known to Login Shell - The Shell Environment
and predefined variables

·         Exporting Variables [Input/Output]

·         Working with files and file attributes

·         Working with Directories - Basic I/O Features – String and Field
Processing - Streams and pipes (exec)

·         Terminal Information(COLUMNS, LINES, TERM)



*ETL *

·         Should have good understanding of Business Intelligence & Data
Warehousing, project life cycle Phases.

·         Should have awareness of best practices in ETL Architecture,
Design and Load Performance

·         Experience in architecting ETL Feeds in the role of a Technical
Lead for ETL Architecture, Design and implementation.

·         Should have experience in design and implementation of ETL
solution in at least one DWH development projects.

·         Should have expertise in data standardization and data modeling
(i.e. conceptual, logical and physical model design, experience with ODS,
EDWH and DM )

·         Should have expert knowledge in at least one leading ETL Tools
(Informatica, AbInitio, Data Stage etc.) and familiarity with one or two
leading ETL tools Should have expert knowledge of RDBMS and PL/SQL skills.

·         Should have design and implementation experience with at least
one leading ETL Tool.

·         Should have design and implementation knowledge of job scheduling
and job dependency setups.

·         Should be proficient in at least two of leading RDBMS databases
like Oracle, Sybase, DB2, Teradata, MS SQL Server and in Unix/Linux as well
as Windows platform

·         Should have sound knowledge of concepts including Data Profile,
Data Quality, Meta Data, Data Governance, MDM concepts.

·         Should have functional knowledge of Enterprise architectures.

·         Analysis and Resolution of Application Bug Fixes and
Configuration issues in Production and Test environments.

·         Developing & Maintaining Solution Design Documentation.

·         Reviewing and Validating Business Requirements.

·         Assisting in the estimation of Bug Fixes, Enhancements and new
Solution Development, including Resource, Effort and Schedule details.

·         Enterprise Solution Design & Architecture experience in M/S
Middleware and related topics.

·         3+ years of experience designing and building system integration
solutions following services-oriented architecture principles and best

·         Should be able to understand the impact of dependent technologies
and incorporate it in design

·         Should understand security solutions(in BizTalk context), backend
systems, domain flows

·         Should be able to identify technology/functional on-functional
dependencies in an BizTalk implementation and plan from the same

·         Should contribute to technology forums- participate in atleast
one seminar in speaker slot.

·         Should be able to design BizTalk end to end solution
independently.

·         Should be able to do functional and non-functional design using
an BizTalk product.

·         Additionally also should be able to do design reviews and suggest
design improvements.

·         Should have experience in testing methodologies for BizTalk
product.

·         Should have an understanding of SOA and should have implemented
web services based solutions.

·         Should have an understanding of implementing BizTalk solutions
using more than one product.

·         Should contribute to technology forums -whitepapers, articles and
innovation ideas Should be able to estimate and plan for an BizTalk
implementation





*WCF - Windows Communication Foundation *

·         WCF: Exp and Knowledge on Instance Management & Operation,
Transaction management & Concurrency Management

*Service Oriented Architecture-SOA *

·         Ability to effectively identify service abstractions

·         Strong knowledge in SOA implementation technologies

·         Knowledge of common pitfalls in SOA.

·         Knowledge of SOA principles

·         Working knowledge of building blocks of SOA infrastructure ESB,
Orchestration 6. Basic knowledge of enabling technologies like XML, SOAP



*BizTalk – Architecting*

·         He/She would be an authority in architecting integration
solutions for mid and large enterprises and should have demonstrated
experience of successful implementations.

·         You should be able to engage Sr. IT team of customer in helping
them achieve their goals on SOA, IT Security and Compliance.

·         Have 7-10years of IT experience of which the last 2 year should
be as an integration architect for a minimum team of 10-15, developing
solutions using BizTalk2004/2006.

·         Ability to do Application Sizing, Capacity Planning, Performance
tuning.

·         Hands on experience in creating schema, maps, pipelines,
orchestration, handling exceptions, application monitoring and using
Adaptors is a must. Estimate and design solutions for RFPs.

·         Present in customer forums and architect forums on the
integration landscape on MS technologies.

·         Having MS Certification on BizTalk and experience with BizTalk
accelerators, EDI Messaging schemas, RFI Dbase solutions are a plus.

·         Candidates having prior experience with competitive EAI tools
like Tibco, See Beyond and exposure or training on BizTalk can also apply.
