*Role Qlik View Consultant * *Location Of Posting The Woodlands, TX* *Contract Duration 12+ months* Job Description: Responsibilities include: Providing input and guidance on proposing, evaluating, and selecting appropriate design alternatives which meet requirements and are consistent with our current standards and processes. Leading business requirements and design review sessions. Extracting, transforming and loading data into QlikView applications Developing, testing, debugging QlikView applications?Migrating code across development and testing landscapes Developing documentation including but not limited to test scripts, health checks, etc. Mentoring and transferring knowledge to less experienced team members??Qualifications we?re looking for?Experience:?3+ years? experience utilizing QlikView to implement complex analytical solutions which access data from multiple sources?Minimum 5 years? experience developing Business Intelligence (BI) and Analytical Solutions. Experience creating extract/transform/load routines from data sources including SAP R/3, SAP BW, Salesforce.com, MS SQL Server as well as other data sources?Solid experience developing complex QlikView data models?Experience in Chemicals industry a plus Skills: Developing effective QlikView data models?Developing front end applications using QlikView technology?Utilizing scripting language to meet complex business requirements?Utilizing QlikView Publisher capabilities?Development/Testing/Processes:?Extract, transform and load data from multiple data sources into the QlikView application?Design, build, test and debug QlikView solutions based upon specified requirements?Follow implementation standards?Utilize source control tools? Follow deployment process? Tune data loads and Elkview application for efficient performance? General:?Effective communication skills (written, verbal, and listening)?Good problem solving and testing skills?
