*Job Description:*

Administrator responsible for resolving escalated troubleshooting
requirements. Responsible for guiding junior administrators in trouble
shooting non-routine and complex troubleshooting requirements. As a senior
member, is responsible for ensuring SLA is met and there are no complaints
from customer. Technically sound, Contributes to KM and practice building.
Prepares the Change management plan and gets sign-off . Conducts planned
regular and random Technical audits. Suggest improvement plans. Implement
and share best practices. Implement automation of regular admin activities.
Capture and report metrics like Devices/FTE , incidents/FTE,
incidents/devices, SA metrics. Perform trend analysis on the data captured.

 Oracle Database Administrator Description We are seeking talented
candidates for an Oracle DBA position. The job requirement consist of
implementation of systems into Solaris 8/10/11 environments, applications
support at times, infrastructure recommendations for a new or improvements
on COTS and home grown applications. You will be based in Anchorage, AK
where you will work closely with Applications, Unix, and NetApp Storage
team to ensure that all technology initiatives are implemented are
maintained, supported, and life-cycled. The Oracle DBA?s primary
responsibility is to maintain baseline Oracle applications that run in age
from Oracle 8i-11g. The job entails facilitating daily administrative tasks
like Oracle database migrations, upgrades, project support, and
installation of database. Knowledge of basic database maintenance
standards, tuning, health, and back\restore methodology required. The
Oracle Database Administrator will primarily work in the Oracle\Solaris
environment but may be required to cross train to support portions or the
application level, as well as the SQL Server environment. The candidate
will perform database backup and recovery, database migration and archiving
systems and procedures. They will follow specific security requirements
from the clients and participate in reviews for hardware and software
implementations. Other duties may include, but are not limited to:?
Planning, Installing and testing software upgrades and patches.? Monitoring
database performance trends to identify anomalies or errors.? Implementing
database security infrastructure and managing user access accounts.?
Collaborating with architects and technical specialists to identify proper
hardware and software implementations.? Developing, planning and
establishing database performance baselines.? If needed he should be
capable to give help in different modules. Desired Skills and/or
training/or experience:? At least 2+ years working with Oracle 8i-11g
databases? Some knowledge of Solaris 8, 10, & 11 environments for O/S
Configuration and Oracle Network Environment Configuration a plus? NetApp
storage experience for Database Storage and O/S Configuration a plus?
ORACLE ERP experience a plus? Experience with one or more of the following:
Structured Query Language (SQL), SQL Server knowledge, Microsoft SQL Server
2005+, Windows Server 2003/2008; Oracle Enterprise Manager, Oracle SQL
Developer, PL/SQL, T-SQL, standard SQL, XML,? Basic knowledge of database
tools (e.g., Oracle Enterprise Manager & Grid Control, Quest TOAD,
Microsoft SQL Server Enterprise Manager).? Basic knowledge of Database
Management Systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL-Server, etc.), database tools
database architecture (schemas, triggers, performance tuning, etc.),
design, development & administration.? Basic level skill and ability to
work with sensitive information, safeguarding confidential information and
working with it dispassionately.
