*Oracle DBALocation: Ft Worth, TX* * Duration: 6+* *Interview mode: Phone then F2F* *The Oracle DBA will have experience in the administration of the most current versions of Oracle. * *Strong communication skills * *team environment experience* *8-10+ years of DBA (Plan, Build, Operate) experience Oracle(10G,11G,12C) * *5+ years in Application Development and Automation(Unix/Linux platform, SCCS, Subversion, Software release management) * 7+ years of working experience in Oracle RAC,ASM, Dataguard, Multi-tenant Clusters, RMAN Proficiency with Unix Shell scripting, Perl, Python, SQL, and PLSQL Proven track record of database architectural design and Solutions consulting for various business requirements. Working experience with building databases on virtualized platforms(such as Vmware, AIX LPARs), a real plus. Proficiency with different benchmarking methodologies & tools(eg Benchmark Factory, Swingbench) including custom development of tools. Expertise in Database Performance assessments, Performance benchmarks, Response time profiling, diagnostics & tuning Proficiency in data replication technologies(eg Goldengate) and Cross-platform Database/Data migration. Good understanding of distributed computing technologies including server hardware, operating systems, networks and storage. Strong written, oral and Presentation skills. This position is responsible for design, installation, support and availability of IMS and/or DB2 subsystems running on the mainframe platform, including all related third party software products. This position requires participation in software upgrades, mainframe infrastructure projects, interfacing with other mainframe disciplines, and providing general day to day support of the environment. Strong customer focus and communication skills are also required.
