*Position:: Sr Servicenow Developer/ Architect * *Location:: Minneapolis, MN* *Duration:: 1+ year* *Job Type:: C2H * *Expert in ServiceNow administration requires the following skills and requirements:* •Support ServiceNow discovery tool for CMDB Maintain the integrity of the Service-Now tool across production and non-production environments. •Perform installation and testing of vendor-provided updates and new releases. •Work with business users to identify and refine business requirements and workflows. •Reporting to include data extraction, import/export data, publishing, distribution, cataloging, report scheduling •Expert on ServiceNow Discovery module, comfortable deploying discoveries in a multi-datacenter environment •Proven ServiceNow implementation experience (Minimum 1 successful implementation – references required) •Strong Java & java script programming skill •Some SQL development Skill •Strong knowledge of relational databases and SQL •Some coding capabilities •Proven very large scale Web software development experience HTML and XHTML, XML, CSS Strong AJAX development experience to include; familiarity with system programming and web protocols •Understanding of IT service management and the ITIL business process •Maintain LDAP integration and user configurations •maintain Single Sign-On integration •Build reports, gauges, and home pages •Maintain service level agreement (SLA) and monitor an SLA workflow •Create new service catalog requests and items with variables •Create, monitor, modify, and publish service catalog workflows with approvals •Create and use update sets to move customizations between systems •Search, populate, and customize the knowledge base •Create an access control rule (ACL) •Experience of application architectures and best practices . 7+ years working in IT environments, preferably within the ITIL process automation arena with a minimal of; •2+ years working intimately with ServiceNow product Keyword Must-Have •Hands on experience in ServiceNow configuration and customization •Good at Requirements gathering and analysis •JavaScript Experience • Web Services Integration Experience • Experience in handling XML files *Good-to-Have :-* •ServiceNow Implementation Experience •ITIL Knowledge ( Certification is Preferred) *Essential Duties :-* •Configuration and custom script development. •Work with IT service owners, process owners and various service delivery Groups. •Communicate with end-customers and internal project teams.
