*Technical/ Functional Skills*
· Good understanding of the Oracle database, related utilities and
tools
· A good understanding of the underlying operating system
· Knowledge of the physical database design
· Knowledge of ALL Oracle backup and recovery scenarios
· Knowledge of Oracle security management
· Knowledge of how Oracle acquires and manages resources
· Installation, configuration and upgrading of Oracle server
software and related products
· Evaluate Oracle features and Oracle related products
· Implement and maintain database security (create and maintain
users and roles, assign privileges)
· Setup and maintain documentation and standards
Plan growth and changes (capacity planning)
· Strong Knowledge of SQL
· Knowledge of PL/SQL
SQL Loader skills.
*Roles & Responsibilities:*
· Installation, configuration and upgrading of Oracle server
software and related products.
· Monitoring/checking/performing the Database backup & recovery
process
· Creates and maintains all databases required for development,
testing, education and production usage.
· Create the scripts to schedule tasks in windows
· Create the PL/SQL procedures/functions
· Create complex SQL queries to perform certain activities
