Phone then onsite is required. Must be strong with sql and can write complex joins.. Responsibilities • Develop test scenarios, and test cases based on requirements and an understanding of business process and application structure • Perform white-box testing with focus on back-end SQL databases. • Conduct functional testing of applications • Conduct regression testing of applications • Conduct performance testing of applications • Track defects in a defect tracking system and coordinate their prioritization with the Lead Software QA Engineer • Other duties as assigned. Experience/Requirements Position generally requires a Bachelor Degree in business, computer science or equivalent experience plus *5+ years of experience testing software applications*. Familiar with software development life-cycle Experience developing test plans, test scenarios, test cases. Experience with accessing SQL databases and writing SQL queries for data analysis. Understands relational databases. Experience working with use-case driven requirements. Experience with *HL7 testing*. Familiar with UML. Familiar with test automation. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio). Familiarity with XML is a plus.
