This role is part onsite and part remote – initial 2 weeks will be onsite then a 1 week break and 2 weeks remote, then 1 week onsite and 3 weeks remote for the rest of the 12 months thereafter. For onsite work client will reimburse expenses. I am working on the following opening and the client is looking to move quickly. Here are the specifications: *Position: Oracle Application Server Expert* *Location: Diamond Bar, CA * *Remote: Some may be optional* *Duration: 12+ mths* *Interview: Skype* *JOB DESCRIPTION* *IMPORTANT SKILLS* Ø Code in OAS Ø Rebuild some of the hardware *Expert in Oracle Application Services* · Forms and reports built on top of Oracle Application Services · Kind of like mainframes but not very well known · Build queries · Be able to code in it · Rebuild some of the hardware (Microsoft, new version runs on java based platform) · Ok with upgrading · Experience migrating off of this platform · A bonus if can convert to something else · Dual experiences They currently have tons of work in this platform. So they need someone to come in and code in it and rebuild mainframe (Microsoft, new version runs on java based platform) Here is some more info on the project: *Oracle Application Server Expert:* *Looking for more of development guy over an IS person* *80% Development 20% Hardware* *Mostly DBAs are upgrading OAS platforms. * *Client is on the oldest version of OAS- 10G* *Wants more of a developer that can write OAS Code.
