As they roll newly acquired properties onto their systems, there are challenges in the Data Warehouse environment. They need a Senior ETL Developer to join the Data Warehouse team. The ETL Developer will work with other data warehouse personnel to design, code, test and support DW applications/load processes within an Oracle. Telecom industry background would also be a plus for this position. This Consultant will design and develop reporting products using SQL, PL/SQL and ETL tools; works collaboratively with developers to accomplish project goals. They will act as a resource for users and team members to solve reporting questions, problems and new change requests. This person will participate in Systems Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), data analysis and troubleshooting for existing products. They should have experience Designing dimensional models for existing and new Online Transaction Processing (OLTP) source systems, have the ability to Optimize SQL, PL/SQL, ETL code and database objects to ensure solid performance and uptime for production reporting systems and products, and be able to produce technical designs. MUSTS: Experience in a diverse range of technologies with an Oracle focus: *- Data Warehouse and ETL design & best practices- BI and reporting tools (Spotfire)- ETL tools (Informatica)- Database and procedural Structured Query Language (SQL) tuning and optimization, Query explain plan- Knowledge of Change data capture and real-time replication/real-time ETL (DataGuard, GoldenGate, Oracle Data Integrator (ODI))* - Knowledge of Web Services for data exchange (SOAP, XML) - Telecommunications billing and customer care systems experience a plus. - Demonstrated success in a variety of roles within IT - Deep knowledge of data warehouse and reporting design, processes and best practices.
