* Role Description:*
1.) Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and an ability to interface with one.
Past experience writing clients around RESTful APIs would be ideal and
preferably within a language such as Ruby or Python.
2.) Familiar with TDD/BDD and frameworks that enable TDD/BDD (rspec,
Minitest, unittest, py.test, mock, cucumber, capybara, etc).
3.) Strong knowledge of (ranked in terms of priority):
- Ruby
- Python
- Perl
4.) Knowledge of configuration management and ideally specific experience
with
* configuration management tools such as the following (in order of
priority): *
*- Puppet - Chef - CFEngine*
-*Cloud, DevOps,* Agile, SDLC, Unix/Linux OS, VMWare products, HP OneView,
SW packaging and deployment
-Puppet, Ruby, Jenkins
- Maintain Unix/Linux Servers and Vmware Physical and Virtual Environment
- Create and Decommission Unix/Linux and Vmware Servers on the raised floor
- Create and Automate common asset configuration tasks
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with developed automation.
- Client support
- Data Center\Raised Floor
- Vmware
- HP Servers
