Specific duties include: As a BI Architect, you will work as a part of the Software organization with developers, business users, DBAs, and IT team members on the following: Develop reports through Reporting Services (SSRS) from a variety of data sources including Analysis Services Cubes and relational databases. Develop solutions using SSIS/ETL/SSAS/SSRS technologies. Prepare and review requirements, functional specifications, technical designs and implementation documentation. Collaborate with business users and SMEs to ensure the creation of production BI designs and implementations satisfied the analytics and reporting needs. Analyze, translate and develop business requirements into a design of logical and physical data model needed to support both reporting and ad-hoc analysis. Strong understanding of multi-tiered architecture and web-based applications. Excellent systems analysis, organizational, problem solving, troubleshooting, time management, verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills a must. Demonstrated experience in working within a multi-disciplinary team in a fast paced, technically challenging environment.
