Job Title: Project Manager* with Security Emphasis*
Department Name: Information Security Office Assign. Period: 12 Months +++ Location: Torrance, CA Interview: Face to Face Description: This resource will be managing the PAR Automation project and the Security Awareness projects. The PAR Automation project is a SOX initiative to consolidate the OS Privileged access reviews across the Sales and Engineering companies. The Security Awareness initiative is to communicate and promote Security policies, best practices, and requirements around the region. Must have 8 to 10 years’ experience in project management, managing large regional or global projects. 3 to 5 years’ experience in managing Information Security projects. Good automotive business understanding, good understanding of RAD methodology and processes. § Excellent Project Management skills, and strong analytical skills. § Ability use online project planning tools and manage project budget. § Knowledge of government regulations governing information security (SOX,HIPAA, GLBA, etc.) Knowledge of security best practice guidelines (ISO 17799, NIST, etc.) Must have excellent oral and written communication skills, and be customer focused, to understand and appropriately respond to stakeholder business needs, and facilitate the presentation of recommendations. § Must demonstrate the ability to interface effectively and collaborate with clients, peers, vendors, and management to develop solutions and ensure stakeholder buy-in. Position Description: § This position will provide the coordination between companies both regionally, and globally. § The position is responsible for developing and managing the NA-ISO identified projects and developing and managing project plans to support those projects. § This individual will coordinate meetings to development requirements and status items relating to the project, document minutes and provide written status of projects. § The position will also provide communication to all stakeholders of the projects.
