As a member of the project team, the QA Specialist will work in an interactive environment with quality and technical staff to ensure a high degree of collaboration in support of a successful overall solution. Responsibilities for this role will include working with Software Developers to ensure compliance with general best programming practices, unit testing (both positive and negative), regression unit testing, automated unit testing, code analysis scans and peer code review processes. The QA Specialist will also perform application security audits and ensure data integrity standards are met. The QA Specialist will maintain a software defect database in Microsoft TFS and work with the development team to capture and reuse automated test cases, unit test cases and other development test objects. The QA Specialist will report to the QA Manager and assist in the preparation of plans, budgets and schedules. *Qualifications and Education Requirements* • 2+ years of experience utilizing software development design tools and processes (i.e. Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS), Visual Studio, SharePoint, Visio, etc.).
