Knowledge of Disaster Recovery Solution by using log shipping or database mirroring. Working knowledge of performance tuning and query optimization Daily SQL Server support and troubleshooting. Must have basic programming and scripting skills. C#, T-SQL and Power Shell scripting experience preferred. Good knowledge of Windows server 2003/2008/2008/2012 administration and networking (TCP/IP ver4, DNS and DHCP). Must be knowledgeable of server class hardware and network infrastructure best practices. ust be able to speak, read and write in English and be able to communicate with all levels of users. MCDBA, MCITP SQL, MCITP EA, MCSE certifications preferred.
