Position: Senior DevOps Engineer
Location: Englewood, CO (Need local candidates only)
Duration: 6 months contract to hire/FTE
Job Duties and Responsibilities
AWS, Chef, Cloud Foundry and or System admin skills
Maximizing efficiency & reducing time to market by leveraging automation,
agile methodologies and enterprise collaboration is our current mission in

Primary responsibilities include the following areas:

Strong desire to learn new things & continually improve yourself and
your team with a “can do anything” mentality

Working with the Dish Community to implement a Continuous Integration /
Continuous Deployment environment that will work in this large, complex
environment

Becoming a “DevOps Champion” to help push the required culture changes
throughout the organization
Skills, Experience and Requirements
A successful Senior DevOps Engineer will have:
-
4 year college degree or equivalent experience, Bachelor of Science
preferred and 6+ years of professional development experience, master’s
degree is a nice to have
-
Java / object oriented, pattern based enterprise development
experience.

Experience with the micro services architecture
-
Agile Development Experience, SAFe Framework is a nice to have
-
Chef, Docker, Vagrant, Jenkins, Artifactory, Sonar Qube, Git, Maven,
Spock, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Open Stack, VMWare, Maven, Gradle, Jira,
Kibana and/or Elastic Search are all nice to haves
