Ability to interface with scientists and gather requirements *Requirements:* Bachelor's degree and at least 5-8 years of experience in software development Strong domain experience in Java development Experience in biologics registration systems good to have Experience with gathering, architecture, design, implementation, release, and maintenance. Experience with SQL, Java/J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, JavaScript, Lucene, modern HTML, CSS, REST, and JSON Experience in presenting work, both verbally and in writing, to diverse audiences including customers, technical colleagues, and management Experience in developing bioinformatics applications; or, applications in the life sciences/molecular biology domain is preferred. Excellent skills in JavaEE web application development, thorough understanding of Struts2 framework, knowledge of Java design patterns such as MVC and Spring framework.
