*Position: Release Manager* *Location: Plano TX* *Duraion: 6 Months* *Client: Mphasis* *Job Description:* · Must have 8+ years of Hands-on working experience · Strong ALM Experience Required, Production Readiness Scorecards, Typical Cutover and MTP experiences · Experienced resource · Build and Release Manager · The Build & Release Manager is responsible for the packaging and implementation of the CI’s into the test and production environments. The responsibilities include the following: · *Baseline Management: * • Identify specific versions of configuration items (CIs) to be assembled into a deliverable (e.g. Release). • Provide a point-in-time record of a logical grouping of CIs that enables the re-assembly of this group of CIs associated with a prior milestone as required. • Implement Configuration Management processes. Understand and apply the EDGE Process Framework Configuration Management processes. • Produce metrics reports related to the rate of change of individual CIs and groups of CIs between milestones as well as the comparison of baselines. *Build Management:* • Assemble current or previous versions of configuration items (CI) as specified in a baseline to generate a deliverable, work product, or an input to a deliverable or work product. • Record the steps and procedures followed to facilitate diagnostics and refine for each iteration if problems are encountered. • Document release notes associated with each release. • Working with the project development teams, create and maintain the Version Description Document supporting the implementation of the release. • Perform to established service levels consistent with client commitments. Accept responsibility for achieving stated commitments by holding others and team members accountable. Demonstrate effective follow-through and meet client expectations. • Support implementation of CI’s. Provide for scheduling, data conversion, media transformation, encryption, archival and storage, notification, shutdown, purging and erasure, recycling and disposal of Configuration Items as needed to support releases throughout the SDLC. *Quality Oversight:* • Validate quality of work processes.
