*Location: Sylmar, CA* *Duration: **12+ months Contract* *Mode Of Interview: Telephonic followed by Skype* *Description:* · The Systems Analyst is responsible to perform system administration, business administration, SL2 / SL3 user support, configuration and customization of TeamCenter Engineering system. · The Systems Analyst is also responsible to extract the data from multiple TeamCenter Engineering systems, map and perform cleanup activities to enable the data migration from TeamCenter Engineering systems to global Windchill Platform. *PLM Job Duties:* · Provide application system support to ensure that multiple TeamCenter Engineering systems are running properly. · Perform standard system administration activities including the systems monitoring, application performance monitoring, system refreshes of nonproduction environments · Provide standard Business Administration activities including the monitoring of the workflows, making design changes to workflows, building custom handlers and integrations to other systems (SAP, MES and Labeling systems) · Trouble shoot technical issues · Provide SL2 / SL3 user support using Remedy · Understand and maintain the appropriate documentation (Knowledge base articles) · Provide recommendation to the business and other infrastructure teams regarding the critical patches · Collaborates with internal customers to ensure user requirements are complete and concise, confirming that changes and enhancements meet technical specifications and user requirements · Transforms business requirements into technical documentation including detailed design specifications to describe program development, logic coding and corrections · Performs a variety of tasks to review, analyze and modify business application systems including configuration, testing, debugging and implementation including new functionality (configuration, process changes, UI (Java) customizations, ITK C++ customizations) · Maps current processes to the desired state and identifies gaps such as program functions, output requirements, input requirements and sources, data conversion strategies, and system techniques and controls · Provides solid test designs, develops test cases and reviews/approves the execution of those test cases · Develops business process flows and data models for new system development or for process redesign · Work as a key project resource for an IT Project Manager, taking day-to-day work direction and accepting accountability for technical aspects of development · Ensure that the standards are maintained when configuring multiple environments · Provide data extracts of PLM data from multiple TeamCenter Engineering environments, assist in mapping and transform the data so that it can be loaded in other systems. · Communicates effectively with management to enhance their understanding of the opportunities and limitations of information systems · Complies with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, other regulatory requirements, Company policies, operating procedures, processes, and task assignments. Maintains positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors. *General Qualifications* *· Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience* *· 5+ years of technical experience* *· 5+ years of experience translating business requirements into technical designs * · Excellent communication and customer service skills. Able to bridge communication between technical areas and business areas for a full and complete understanding of expectations · Ability to multi-task efficiently on parallel efforts · Ability to drive requirements and project work through to closure · Experience in formal design review · Experience in reviewing technical designs, and experience in code reviews - providing feedback on whether the technical design and code satisfies functional specifications · Training and experience in good test design; experience writing test cases and reviewing/approving the execution of those test cases · Experience working in a broader enterprise/cross-division business unit model preferred. · Ability to work in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse business environment. · Ability to work within a team and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced, changing environment. · Ability to leverage and/or engage others to accomplish projects. · Ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance. *PLM Qualifications:* *· Five plus years designing, installing and configuring TcE application* *· Customization TC ITK, C++, Java customizations, XLM* *· SAP customization using T4S module * *· Strong knowledge in FMS module configuration * *· Strong understanding on Teamcenter PSE module (BOM data configuration and extraction) * · Comprehensive technical knowledge of the TeamCenter Engineering and its development environment. · Strong experience in Java and web technologies. · Working knowledge of Windows, Unix/Linux systems · Strong SQL knowledge greater understanding on Oracle database · Experience with integrating TeamCenter Engineering with other systems including SAP and labeling systems · Knowledge of Windchill is a plus.
