*Duraion: 6-12 Months*
*Job Description:*
The Network Security Analyst is responsible for the administration and
support of technology solutions supporting operational security
requirements for the organization.
*Responsibilities and Objectives:*
- Administer security technologies as a member of the Network Security
team
- Implement new security technologies as business requirements dictate
- Be a member of the team responsible for:
- Managing secure web gateway services
- Administering secure email gateway environment including SPAM
filtering, compliance policies and email security
- Managing encryption infrastructure supporting Web Messenger, Whole
Disk Encryption and NetShare
- Administering Anti-Virus services for clients and servers
- Supporting an internal Certificate Authority infrastructure using
Active Directory Certificate Services
- Administering datacenter firewalls
- Overseeing remote access infrastructure and two-factor
authentication technologies
- Analyze and understand security threats and assist with incident
investigations and remediation
- Provide on-call support for Information Security technologies
*Technical Skills and Experience Requirements:*
- 2-4 years related experience deploying infrastructure technologies
such as servers, networks, email systems, web proxies and encryption/PKI
- 1+ years experience administrating security technologies
- Knowledge of Information Security concepts, such as access controls,
network security, cryptography and operations security
- Familiar with conducting network and operating system risk and
vulnerability assessments
- Experience with Linux operating systems and Linux scripting a plus
* Education and Interpersonal Skill Requirements:*
- BA/BS Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems
preferred
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or similar
certification preferred
- Strong oral and written communications skills
- Strong potential for growth and acceptance of additional
responsibilities
- Ability to work as a member of a team and independently
