*Senior Web Site / CMS Engineer* 6 Months Bridgewater, NJ Phone/Skype *Position Overview:* The Senior Web Site / CMS Engineer will be responsible for supporting Valeant Pharmaceutical’s web site platform based on Evoq Content Enterprise Edition (formally known as DotNetNuke). Experience with DotNetNuke or Evoq Content is not required for this position however experience with Content Management Systems (ex: Sitecore, EpiServer, Ektron, WordPress, Drupal, Joomla) in a multi-site environment is mandatory. The engineer will ensure policies and procedures are followed to provide efficient and effective handling of daily activities and act as a point for escalation for technical and process issues. In addition, it is expected that this role provide improvement recommendations, lead others to solve complex problems, take a broad perspective to identify innovative solutions. Ideally the engineer (particularly if not on site) will be expected to work independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations. *Specific activities include:* Creation of new sites in CMS based on designs by creative agencies or on existing themes already developed Creation of custom modules in CMS to enhance the existing platform and/or meet specific project needs Code review of work done by contract agencies or other team members Technical support of Content Managers Assist in deployments of new code or site themes Participate in troubleshooting and analysis of site performance and platform/site/database security. Implement integrations with 3rd party digital marketing or supporting services (ex: Web Analytics, CRMs, CDN, and Email Marketing Engines). Testing of website and modules Enhance coding standards, development guidelines and delivery practices for efficiency Domain Management Create/configure/manage and support new servers required for website operations Server maintenance and patching Install/configure and support web monitoring tools *Required Skills:* 5-8 years’ strong functional knowledge and experience in Microsoft Web Technology Stack (IIS, ASP.NET, SQL Server) Strong knowledge of modern HTML and CSS standards Currently in or recently was in a role of senior engineer for mid-size to large enterprise wide digital platforms Experience in the past having architected large scale platforms with hands on experience across all layers of digital solution architecture – presentation, application, data and middleware Conversant (even if not hands on) with evolving technologies from the client side Javascript world (Angular, JQuery, Bootstrap) etc Familiarity with infrastructure platforms and hosting solutions providers and their architectures Deep background across at least 2 areas of the following technology landscapes Web Content Management Systems (Sitecore, EpiServer, Ektron, WordPress, Drupal, Joomla or similar) Client side Javascript frameworks (Jquery, Bootstrap, Angular JS) SQL Server (SQL Integration Services, Reporting Services, T-SQL) IIS and web infrastructure (load balancers, CDN, firewalls). Define and implement proof-of-concepts for proving new technologies Proven experience in requirement gathering, fit/gap analysis, documenting design, test planning and execution, training strategy, and planning. Good oral and written communication skills Proven problem solving and decision-making skills for complex problems Strong organizational skills; ability to multi-task and attention to detail Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a dynamic team environment with general direction Self-starter; ability to drive changes to promote functional productivity and efficiency Good knowledge of Customer Marketing and Web Analytics Systems (ex: Google Analytics, Marketo, MailChimp, SalesForce) and associate integration APIs.
