Position Overview :
- We are seeking a strong an experienced Project Manager / Program
Manager with experience managing Reporting & Business Intelligence projects.
- The candidate will help define and deliver complex global reporting
initiatives for the iPhone Sales Channel.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong experience working Sales
environment and in project management skills.
- The candidate will be responsible for liaising with business teams, IT
teams and BPR teams to identify, scope, and deliver reporting solutions in
agile and waterfall methodology.
- The candidate will be a self-motivated, driven individual who is
comfortable working in a global, matrixed, fast-paced environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Consult with iPhone reporting team, senior iPhone business
stakeholders , finance stakeholders and global project teams to identify
reporting needs and capabilities.
- Manage reporting projects end to end either using agile or waterfall
style.
- Manage multiple releases in a program, day today action tracking,
scope and schedule management
- Clear communications to the stakeholders and cross functional teams
for Project status, risks, dependencies and recommended options
- Develop keynotes/ presentations to facilitate focused, concise design
meetings/workshops and senior executive reviews.
- Work with IS&T teams to deliver the Dashboard and BI projects
successfully. Ability to understand and define the technology solutions to
support the iPhone reporting capabilities.
- Establish close working relationships with key stakeholders across
many different business organizations to support delivery of project
initiatives.
- Work with SMEs and financial analysts to determine the impact of any
necessary changes to the existing reporting models.
- Functional and Industry Expertise
- Strong Project Management experience required
- Understanding of business intelligence technologies, and reporting
tools.
- Any experience delivering projects in the Sales or Retail industry is
desirable.
- Collaboration across multiple functional teams and strong liaising
skills with IT organization
- Manage change. Influence decisions and change management through
collaboration, leadership and a customer-focused approach.
- Measure and track results. Achieve business benefits.
Experience & Skills Technical Skills Required :
- 7-10 years of experience with project management in the high tech
industry, with a demonstrated track record of successful project execution
for sales and marketing or sales operations organizations.
- Skilled at managing multiple releases in a program, complex projects
and multi year program road map.
- Skilled at Scope and Schedule management & day to today action and
risk tracking.
- Proficient communication skills and Stakeholder management.
- Ability to interact with IT team and translate communications for the
business team.
- Working knowledge of BI Tools and principles. High level of
proficiency creating high impact presentations using MS PowerPoint and
Keynote.
- Experience in delivering reporting solutions over a number of
platforms, such as Business Objects, Tableau, Dashboard visualizations and
mobile reporting technologies.
- Aptitude and interest in new technical concepts.
- Analytical capabilities needed to synthesize large amounts of data
into a clear story and/or assess business process improvement
opportunities.
- Soft Skills Required Able to operate at a strategic level but to deep
dive as needed into operational / tactical detail as needed.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- Ability to communicate at all organizational levels – especially to an
executive level.
- Expertise leading cross-functional workshops to drive to consensus and
guide key project decisions.
- Problem solver Self Starter, Go getter attitude. Collaborative,
flexible and open working style, with an ability to quickly establish trust
and credibility.
- Excellent teamwork skills and ability to influence others Detail
oriented and sense of urgency to “make things happen” Strong sense of
Customer focus Education / Qualifications BA/BS degree in related field
PMI/PMP certification Travel International - Once a Quarter
