Responsibilities include: - Understand existing System design and its components and make recommendations towards the development of new code or reuse of existing code. - Analyze business requirements, design, implement and integrate front-end component with server-side framework. - Optimize system's front-end component for speed and cross-browser compatibility. - Develop design documentation artifacts in UML. - Conduct peer code and design reviews. - Support functional and performance testing. - 5+ years of application programming experience - Web Application development using Core Java, J2EE, Servlets, JSP, EJB, JDBC. Framework Struts 2.0, Spring 3.0, - Expertise in Web-Development technologies: HTML, XML, XSL/XSLT, XPATH and Java script. - Web Services - JavaScript/JQuery/ JSON - CSSHTML•Extensive Java development experience including traditional and AJAX web applications, Java Servlets and servlet filters, Spring and Spring Security, Jetty and Tomcat, Git and Subversion, Maven •Excellent communication and interpersonal skills •Experience with Agile software project management and knowledge of the software development lifecycle in a large enterprise environment •End to End development experience.
