*Job Title* Java Developer *Project Location* Dallas, TX *Duration* 6 months /Contract *Skills Required and Job Description:* *MOI:: T+F2F* *Needed:: USC, GC Only* PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES • Responsibilities include, but not limited to: • The primary responsibility is to develop highly scalable SaaS based JAVA applications on Linux platform, applying sound object oriented principles and design patterns. • Participate in internal testing to identify problems early, perform error and stress scenarios, and tuning for performance. • Identify and recommend where new technologies may be incorporated • Follow best practices of the industry for delivering high-quality software in a timely manner and to the specification • Participate in design and code reviews. • Will work with Business Analysts to aid in the design of the system • Mentor junior developers REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field plus 7+ years experience developing n-tier applications or Masters degree plus 5 years experience • Ideal candidate will have hands on experience in the following: Web application development using JAVA and opensource technologies, tools and APIs: Spring/Hibernate, Struts, JDBC, SQL, XML, ANT, Tomcat, HTML, JavaScript. Excellent understanding of OOP, Design Patterns.
