Project Manager-Enterprise Architect



The Project Manager-Enterprise Architect provides services for the new
Emerging Technologies

Function at Client. This group looks both within the Financial Services
industry and across many others to identify and track emerging technology
trends, assess impacts, and make recommendations on creating strategic
advantage for the business.



Under general supervision, the Project Manager-Enterprise Architect role:

• Assists with coordinating research work, project management of
initiatives to drive emerging architecture services, and optimizing
enterprise architecture delivery effectiveness.

• Studies emerging trends in the information technology field and ensures
that their ramifications are leveraged into the Client’s technology
strategy planning, innovation, and delivery road mapping efforts.

• Collaborates with both the business and the Information Technology Group
(ITG) to foster a forward-looking and action-oriented culture of innovation.

• Has a broad acumen for technology and a strong grasp of thee economic
drivers behind key emerging technology sectors.

• In addition to a keen eye for business strategy and operations, has the
know-how to leverage expertise from other industry research practices and
relationships to make the function successful.

• Conducts Emerging Technology Research & Incubation by partnering with the
ITG's Advanced Technology lab.

• Optimizes the function of the Enterprise Architecture Group through the
creation and promotion of products and services to improve architecture
engagement and reusable asset development.

• Fosters a culture of high intellect technology advocacy, networking and
activism through Technology Evangelism, and Engagement initiatives internal
and external to the company.

the impact on the Client’s business

• Strong project management and delivery skills; strong understanding of
project management fundamentals (a project management certification would
be valued)

• Strong communication and structural thinking skills

• Engaging personality; curious mind, fast learner

• Inquisitive intellect and willingness to dive deep in to research and
proof of concept (POC) efforts in a variety of spaces

• Excellent network of industry resources to assist with the role
requirements

• Proven ability to understand complex business environments, aggregate and
simplify processes, and collaborate and influence a diverse team with
varying skill levels

• Self-motivated individual with a proven track record of delivering
results within a collaborative team environment

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Visio and Project

• Working knowledge with Microsoft Project or equivalent application

• Experience in both project management and enterprise architecture (i.e.,
not one or the other)

• Exposure to/experience with web development and content collaboration
projects is preferred but not required

• Broad understanding of financial services is preferred but not required

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree; M.B.A. degree preferred but not required
