Position Description:

The Support Analyst is responsible for supporting an aggressive conversion
of the new Toshiba Self-Checkout solution by supporting the hardware and
software issues that are escalated to level 3 support.   The Support
Analyst performs many of these tasks independently and communicates with
the appropriate teams to ensure that assignments are delivered with the
highest of quality and in accordance to standards.  The role includes
analyzing defect trends and proposing new fixes to the Support Lead for a
permanent fix provided by the vendor.  Role model and demonstrate the
company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion
and safety of others.

Essential Job Functions:

·         Support and maintain solutions utilizing required tools and
technologies.  Provide support for applications, including involvement with
the appropriate teams.

·         Provide off-hours support (24 x 7).

·         Support the conversion rollout of the CHEC software and
hardware.  Ability to read log files to determine root cause with provided
tools.

·         Partner with the appropriate teams and vendors to expedite issue
resolution and manage to SLAs.

·         Establish priorities for enhancements/modifications of
application.

·         Create technical support knowledge documents based on issues
resolved in production.

·         Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position
with or without reasonable accommodation.

·         Deliver high-quality solutions



Requirements:

·         experience with POS applications, in particular Toshiba CHEC and
Toshiba IBM4690

·         3-5 or more years’ experience in support role working on a highly
aggressive schedule.

·         Proven communication and presentation skills to effectively
communicate information to customers and to all levels within the
organization.

·         Ability to interact well in a team environment.

·         Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a
problem-solving environment.

·         Good leadership skills

·         Can work with minimal supervision

·         Ability to determine methods and procedures on new projects with
minimal guidance.

·         Knowledgeable of appropriate change/release management practices.

·         Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position
with or without reasonable accommodation.

Desired Skills:

·         IS related associate degree, or a bachelor's degree, or
comparable work experience in an Information Systems position or related
business position.

·         4 - 6 years’ experience in adjacent technologies.
Prior experience with project planning with medium size or medium level
complexity projects
