*Education: *Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Management or a related discipline, plus an industry accreditation or equivalent work experience. *Education: 9*-10 years in database design and administration in a large enterprise environment. *- Microsoft SQL* *- Oracle* *Analytical/Decision Making Responsibilities:* ·Work with Service Owners to apply appropriate design methodologies to service and infrastructure solutions, reviewing and highlighting areas for improvement. ·Understand and apply architecture standards and principles, global product-specific guidelines, and local regulatory requirements. ·Recommend opportunities to optimize design and development components (e.g., increase infrastructure utilization). ·Partner with Service Delivery to design and develop against project road maps. *Knowledge and Skills: Technical/Functional skills* · In-depth database deployment experience with large-scale infrastructures, including web services, application platforms, storage/disk solutions, and enterprise directories. · Experience in solution architecture/design and system integration. Experience in transaction analysis and performance analysis. · Broad understanding of the global database environments, including regional issues and differences. · Understanding of global database requirements and architectures, along with hands-on experience in supporting application readiness. · Awareness of the standard service life cycle, with experience in the transition of designs into production roll outs. *Additional skills requirements:* · Must demonstrate leadership in a dynamic, fast paced environment with shifting priorities and tight deadlines. · Experienced in people leadership, with good partnering skills in influencing and negotiating across organizations. · Excellent communication skills and negotiation skills. · Flexibility to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity and rapid change. · Ability to work and team with a multitude of different people to balance demands as well as understanding and integrating cultural differences and motives. · Ability to work independently in a global organization within the context of a virtual team. . *Other Requirements: *As this is a role with global focus and responsibilities, you may be required to work outside of the normal working hours in your time zone in order to partner with other IT Services staff globally.
