Workday Consultant

Workday Techno-Functional Consultant. Should be experienced w/Salesforce
Integration & Configuration.

Job Description:

Techno-Functional (70:30) Workday consultant to work on various initiatives
in queue. This resource should have a strong technical knowledge of
workday, with the ability to provide hands on configuration and develop
integrations across the Workday platform, to integrate with other HRIS
applications. This candidate will be accountable to drive delivery
execution while collaborating with various stakeholders (Functional Lead IT
Team, Build Team, Solution Providers, IT Quality, Project Managers and the
business users).

Depending upon the size of the project, this role will require to:

   - Either be hands-on for small projects and deliver a solution.
   "Solutions" can vary (mainly integration, but also configuration etc...),
   but with a common denominator being Workday
   - Or manage supplemental resources who will be accountable for
   delivering a solution. "Manage" includes providing estimates (time, $),
   guiding solution design, system testing as well as resolving project issues
   and risks in a timely fashion

This HR-centric role will also require the following collaborative mindset:

   - Understand the end-to-end business processes, functional as well as
   technical requirements.
   - Align both the functional and technical teams to ensure scope is
   synced between both areas
   - Work with IT functional leads and Project Managers upstream downstream
   (project planning initiation phase as well as delivery phase) in order to
   define technical scope, delivery budget, timelines (manage the timely
   delivery of the project)
   - Follow the company SDLC and Operating Model


Qualifications/Requirements:


   - IT professional with HR background (having worked for or with HR teams)
   - MS or BS in Information Management or relevant experience in the field
   - Technical skills: Workday, Database querying (SQL), XML technology for
   interface with payroll and benefits vendors, other HR systems is a plus
   (Brassring, ADP, Fidelity, SuccessFactors, Oracle)
   - Experience working across the life cycle of Information Technology
   projects, such as assessment and analysis, strategy road map, architecture,
   build deployment, management, etc.
   - Ability to work with all levels, including executive-level with
   excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
