Job Description
Summary: Develop and execute software test plans in order to identify
software problems and their causes. The technical skills include the
ability to design software or customize software for client use
Responsibility level o Exercises independent judgment with minimal
direction from supervisor and will typically supervise one or more lower
level analyst Skills o Verbal and written communication skills, problem
solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills (Required) o
Strong ability to work independently and manage one’s time (Required) o
Strong mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive
performance feedback (Required) o Strong knowledge of circuit boards,
processors, chips, electronic equipment, and computer hardware and
software, including applications and programming. (Required) o Strong
knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in
production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models o
Strong knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and
technology (Required) o Strong knowledge of computer development software,
such as Microsoft Visual Basic, Linux, JavaScript, etc (Required) Major Job
Duties and Responsibilities: o Review and approve test plans, scenarios,
scripts or procedures
o Review and approve testing programs that addresses areas such as database
impacts, software scenarios, or usability o Review documentation of
software defects and assign software developers to investigate and resolve
the issue o Review and approve test schedules or strategies in accordance
with project scope or delivery dates o Review software documentation to
ensure technical accuracy, compliance or completeness or to mitigate risks
o Participate in product design reviews to provide input on functional
requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential problems • Display
working knowledge in other SuccessFactors solutions (Performance, Goals,
Talent, Recruiting / Onboarding) with a minimum of 2 successful
SuccessFactors implementation/integration projects • Maintain detailed
knowledge of *SuccessFactors product-suite configuration options,
integration points, and best practices* • Interact with internal business
customers and other members of the team on integration and re-engineering
opportunities. • Ability to multi-task configuration, support and on-going
maintenance projects and meet deadlines in a complex and dynamic
environment.
