Detail oriented Description: Technical lead PrimeFinance IT developer PrimeFinance IT developer Job Purpose: This role is for PrimeFinance IT developer in New York. PrimeFinance IT is a global organization with about 80 business analyst / developers spread across New York, London, Hong Kong, Singapore and Mumbai. PrimeFinance IT is a global team responsible for analyzing requirements from PrimeFinance Traders and Trade Capture teams and help build out IT solutions with specific focus on Equity Swaps Trading, Index and ETF trading, Risk and Control reporting. This team is also responsible for helping in redesigning the DMA platform , scaling up the capacity of the Swap Valuation engine and enhancing the real time risk and reporting systems in addition to supporting the traders and hedge funds for their equity swaps execution Developer Job Duties: • Work closely with traders, business analysts and Front office controls group in helping analyzing requirements in helping add functionality to the existing PrimeFinance applications which are utilized for trading, swap engine valuation, risk reporting and risk controls. • Have some understanding of Equity execution systems and Direct Market Access Trading. Be able to interact with different teams within Equities , Advanced Execution services team and Trade capture teams to capture requirements specific for Prime Finance Trading and execution. • Extensive knowledge of C#. Net both of client end as well as building server side components. Should have worked on C# platform between 7 to 10 years. Should have previous work experience in building trading platforms in C#. Net to satisfy large amounts of trade volumes and executions. • Very strong SQL database skills, Ability to write procs, triggers and also in depth knowledge of optimizing stored procs and identifying bottlenecks with existing stored procs and triggers. Be able to write customized SQL for ad hoc reporting. Should have worked on SQL server or Sybase IQ for about 5 to 10 years. • Monitors project progress by tracking activity; resolving problems; publishing progress reports; recommending actions. • Should have some basic knowledge of big data technologies like Hadoop, MongoDB , elastic search or Kibana. Should have worked on couple of projects in big data. • Prepares technical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends. Should have worked as a technical lead and have the ability to lead a small team of both onshore as well as offshore developers. • Having knowledge of regulatory projects like Dodd Frank, CCAR, 871 M would be a positive. • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies. • Detail oriented and should have the ability to multi task across multiple projects. Be able to provide second level support to the PTG and QA team . Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
