*Job Title* Sr. Scrum Master *Project Location* Bala Cynwyd, PA *Duration* 6 months /Contract *Skills Required and Job Description:* *MOI: TELEPHONIC + SKYPE* Below are the job responsibilities: 1. Responsible for leading one or more Scrum teams to successful delivery of *Guidewire* Data Hub in support of implementation of Guidewire BillingCenter within the established program roadmap 2. Responsible for grooming the product backlog in collaboration with the Product Owners to ensure delivery of promised business value 3. Facilitates sprint planning with scrum team(s) to ensure work is assigned effectively to achieve planned velocity and makes course corrections or adjustments during sprints to deliver on plan 4. Blocks and tackles for team by resolving issues and minimizing outside distractions, utilizing fact-based negotiation and decision-making methods 5. Coordinates and facilitates end of sprint demonstrations as well as other sprint closure processes 6. Escalates issues that can't be resolved intra-scrum team or within SoS to Project Manager or Program Manager for assistance 7. Provides cogent and accurate status of work including sprint, release, and project burndowns with explanations of variance 8. Facilitates sprint retrospectives with team to ensure continuous improvement & removal of blockers; also presents results and recommendations to management team for action 9. Attends Scrum of Scrum (SoS) meetings to facilitate inter-team communication, dependency management, and issue resolution 10. Assists Project and Program Manager with planning future releases *Below are the skills, abilities and experience required for the role:* 1. Excellent communication and collaboration skills 2. 5+ years’ experience with managing teams to deliver within a transformative program utilizing an iterative methodology 3. Demonstrated ability to establish influence within a cross-functional, matrixed team 4. Demonstrated situational awareness and judgment in escalating issues for resolution and interacting with business stakeholders 5.
