Please go through the below job description and if you have any well suited consultant for this opportunity please revert me along with his/her updated resume. *Job Title : Sr. Performance Engineer (* with Retail Domain and Rational Performance Testing experience) *Location : Westborough, MA* *Duration: : 6+Mths* The individual will be responsible for performance analysis to ensure optimal configuration to support the Bjs.com ecommerce application including identification of bottlenecks and other systemic issues that could lead to performance degradation. This would also include ensuring the proper instrumentation is in place to provide proactive exception based alerting ahead of actual application or customer impact. *Desired Skills and Experience* · Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field is required. · A minimum of 5 years of senior level software performance engineering experience is required. · Experience in a lead capacity either ongoing within a team or as a part of significant projects and engagements. · General understanding of Network technologies (i.e. OSI Layer), Application security, Databases (preferablyDB2) and MQ Messaging and Broker, AIX and WebSphere Application Server. · Min of 5 years’ experience in Java-based web applications and eCommerce platform required; · Experienced with WebSphere Commerce v7 required plus Endeca and/or Solr Search and Sterling Order Management System preferred. · Experience analyzing solutions in a distributed architecture and ability to understand the interactions from end to end. · Experience with mobile platforms and system performance considerations are a plus. · Familiarity with performance testing tools (i.e. Rational Performance Tester). · Experience in eCommerce and/or Order Management Systems capacity planning and scalability solutions · Exceptionally strong critical thinking and analysis skills and exceptionally strong documentation skills. · Excellent work ethics with a strong penchant for working in a challenging environment · Knowledge is essential in object-oriented design and programming methodologies, Java, JavaScript, Enterprise Java Beans (EJB), SQL, Dojo, UNIX, Linux, shell scripting and DB2. · Knowledge is desired in JSP, XML, XSLT, HTML5, CSS3, and MQ. · Familiarity with industry standards (W3C, Web Services, J2EE). · Strong system analysis and design skills and demonstrated ability to tune large scale applications. · Software engineering industry and/or some previous project leadership experience is preferred. · Retail industry experience is a plus, but not required -- Best Regards, Devendra Shukla 880 E Swedesford Road, Suite #210, Wayne, PA 19087 (Desk): 610-726-1131 *[email protected] <[email protected]>* | *www.zodiac-solutions.com <http://www.zodiac-solutions.com/>* | Linkedin: https://www.linkedin.com/in/devendra-kumar-2a7039103 Privacy Policy <http://prohirespowerhouse.com/powerhouse/pp.php> | This is not an unsolicited eMail.
