Your skills are needed to assist a multi-billion dollar Residential Property Management company headquartered in Chicago, IL. with a high-profile Data Warehousing initiative. *Our client is migrating from an Oracle 12c Data Warehouse environment with PL/SQL load processes and outputs, to the SQL Server 2016 Azure platform with SSIS and TSQL**.* In this role you will be involved in the development of data warehouse batch applications to load/aggregate business data from ~25 internal systems making the data available to ~40 consumer and connecting applications. The ideal candidate will have SQL Server Data Warehousing experience as well as experience building custom T-SQL and SSIS ETL processes with expertise in Package development & Tuning. Please note that the legacy 12c RDBMS and PL/SQL ETL processes will be moved to SQL 2016/Azure and T-SQL. You will also be asked to modify application connectors on the .NET platform or SQL BI stack. *Activities & Responsibilities:* - Analysis of legacy PL/SQL ETL and Stored Procedures so they can be rewritten in T-SQL and SSIS - Design on new data extraction procedures to load data marts - Produce specifications for data load jobs, while working with users and developers to understand their data needs and relationships to existing corporate data - Follow Data Warehouse group standard design life cycle when completing new development projects, including detailed design plan, process flow, test plan, implementation plan and documentation - Assist Data Architecture group to capture data definitions of major data sources and data elements - Responsible for TSQL code performance analysis and tuning. - Provide detailed documentation concerning process flow/interface between feeder systems and the data warehouse - Coordinate testing with other development groups, users, and operation group, identify appropriate level of testing and ensure that testing is complete before signing off - Provide support for development and production systems *Required Skills:* - 8+ years Data Warehousing experience on a SQL Platform - Strong familiarity with SQL Server and TSQL (SQL 2012 or Newer) - Solid understanding of the Oracle RDBMS and PL/SQL (Oracle 10 or newer) - Strong T-SQL query writing and optimization (Tuning) - Familiarity with Data and Referential Integrity concepts - C# coding skills are a plus (not required) to rework the application pointers for the new data source - Strong Oral and Written Communications skills *Thanks,* *Ruby Kumari* United Software Group Inc. 565 Metro Place S.
