Please share suitable profiles towards below position to [email protected] *Title: BI Architect/Lead* *Location: Princeton NJ * *Duration: 2 + year* *Interview: Phone + In-person* *NOTE: Need minimum 12 + yrs of experience.* *Primary Skills:* *MS SSAS /SSRS/SSIS , SQL Server 2012 and Dimensional Modelling, Cubes, MDX* - Must have good communication skills, - Lead and mentor teams of other MSBI staff to solve technical BI solutions with little or no supervision - Lead the activities of providing BI solutions, developing project plans, monitoring progress, and resolving issues - Provides consultation and knowledge transfer to peers and internal contacts as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the administration and new development using MSBI - Provides technical expertise to design business solutions using acquired knowledge and experience related to MSBI - Actively seek opportunities to leverage existing BI solutions for new business offerings and services - Able to implement BI solutions and/or teach the business the tools for a self server model - Align BI solutions with business functions to improve flexibility, facilitate large scale reuse, and improve comprehensibility and visibility of BI's value to the business - Partner with business, Research and other FCE and IT teams in designing BI solutions that match the needs of the business - Aggressively identify enterprise BI application solution/technology initiatives that are of value. - Review and approve BI project deliverables to ensure that they are architecturally sound and meet business needs - Influence business strategy by explaining the capabilities of the architecture to management and the SBUs (Strategic Business Units) - Maintain a broad business understanding including customer and market trends - Contribute to future vision and strategy by conducting research and proof of concepts - Maintain a broad knowledge of new technical tools and trends, and apply those tools to improving business processes. - Map business capabilities and services to BI solutions, and plan BI solutions for future business opportunities - Actively seek opportunities to leverage existing BI solutions for new business offerings and services - Continuously improve processes, technologies, applications to provide best value to business - Establish standards in best practice design patterns and pitfalls to ensure that BI solutions perform to expectations. - Cognos TM!
