N2S offers a wide gamut of consulting solutions customized to client needs including staffing, training and technology. * Need Passport copy/ Passport number if H1B, Need to verify *Job Summary: * *Role **: * *Redshift Architect* *Location : **Englewood, CO* *Type of Hire : Contract 12+ months* *Job Description: * · Responsible for creating and maintaining Redshift cluster · Responsible for design, development of Redshift schema and tables · Responsible for design, development, automation of the process to load data into AWS · Recommend data architecture and design and document Best Practice for Redshift · Present and defend approach using reference materials, standard methods and logic. · Exposure on Creating Redshift cluster; resizing cluster; snapshots and restore · Knowledge of internal architecture of Redshift and MPP technology · Have hands on experience on Redshift schema design, performance optimization, capacity planning · Hands on experience with Redshift Copy commands, data types etc. · Worked extensively in performance tuning, load distribution, defining sort keys, distribution keys, query performance · Exposure on AWS Services EC2; EMR; SQS; SNS; Lambda; S3; Glacier a plus. · Experience working with Amazon Web Services RDS, SNS/SQS/SWF, Pig and/or Hive is preferred · Solid understanding of SQL and have worked extensively with SQL · Competent working in Linux development environment · Experience with various data structures, information management concepts and big data concepts in order to determine the appropriate implementation of the solution · Able to design and implement automation of the process using scheduling tools like data pipeline or SWF. · Good at documentation of the data flow, process flow, detail design Tajinder Singh Sr.Recruiter Net2Source Inc.
